Each lesson uses engaging and hands-on tasks that explicitly teach comprehension skills of connecting and predicting, whilst building students’ vocabulary knowledge. All of the lessons focus on the book ‘Magic Beach’ by Alison Lester, however, it would work well with any ‘beach’ theme text of your choice. Each lesson can also be completed as a stand alone lesson.
