Persuade Me

This unit explicitly teaches the necessary text structure and language features to enable students to successfully compose a persuasive text. Students will engage with a range of quality literature as stimuli for developing an opinion with supporting evidence. Through fun and engaging speaking and listening activities, students have the opportunity to verbalise their thoughts and opinions before transferring them into a written piece of work. Some lessons may need to run over a few days, to allow for consistent modelling and support. Persuade away!
