Giving and Receiving Feedback Unit
This mini unit will equip students with the skills required to meaningfully reflect on their own and others’ work and provide positive, constructive feedback. Students are exposed to five different feedback models, and are provided with opportunities to practise giving and receiving clear, actionable and kind feedback. These lessons complement writing units and have been designed to be returned to, over time. They can be taught in sequence as students develop their independence and confidence using the frameworks, or as stand-alone sessions.
