Life Cycles - Ants

This unit leads students into the world of ants through a study of the ant life cycle. Sparking student curiosity through the use of interactive, hands-on activities and explicit instruction, students are supported to build their confidence and ability in navigating informative texts. They will broaden their vocabulary and be able to apply technical language to their written work. Students will build a model, create diagrams and use observation skills to demonstrate their learning. These lessons can also be adapted to teach about the life cycle of other minibeasts.
