Recount Writing

This unit will explicitly unpack the elements of writing a personal recount text. Students will explore the organisation and structure of a recount piece, as well as engage in lessons designed to improve their skills through punctuation, vocabulary, sentence structure and descriptive language. Students create their own personal writing goals and engage in peer feedback to improve their overall writing. Students apply their knowledge to plan, create, edit and publish their own personal recount.
