Under The Love Umbrella

This mini unit explores the concepts of love and protection and is a great way to find out more about your students when you go ‘Back To School’. Students will engage with and learn to empathise with characters from a literary text. This unit will explore social and emotional skills, helping students to think about what love means to them and who in their lives provides them with care and protection. Students will be given opportunities to show their understanding through discussions, writing, poetry and art activities. These lessons can also be completed as a stand- alone lesson and with another text of choice.
